Finding Ways to Remember

My trainer asked me to add vitamins to my daily intake. I’m really bad about taking my needed meds, and yes, I’ve tried near my toothbrush, on the kitchen table and other places, all to be ignored. I even signed up for Hasslebot, so I’d be nagged via email. I’ve learned I’m good at ignoring things when I want to. I don’t mind taking my meds mind you, I just get distracted. I think I may have found a solution!

Take the Burn With the Good

I made the best tuna macaroni salad yesterday. Now, I only make this about once a year, because nobody else here eats it. It’s one of those things I grew up with that my mom made. I think they are just insane that they don’t care for it. Anyway, here’s the problem, every year I have it, I get horrible heartburn! I think it’s the combination of the eggs and mayo in there, not sure. Either way, I eat it knowing I’ll get the bad heartburn, and that I’ll only be having it once a year. The batch makes 3 days worth of lunches.

Do you like to design and create things? Do you have a great picture that would make awesome wallpaper? Change is Coming

I’m a little distressed today because there are some changes going on. Change makes me nervous, though often times it’s a good thing. When we are forced to change, we learn and grow, though it can be a scary thing. I’m concerned this change will affect my day to day business, but maybe it will teach me to find new creative ways to expand. Things happen for a reason in my eyes, so I’m just going to roll with the punches and do the best I can to keep up with the changes.

Work Boots

If you’ve ever needed good quality work shoes or boots, you appreciate a comfortable pair. Whether you’re looking for Dansko, Danner Boots, Catepillar or other popular brands, Metboots has a large selection. My ex wears work boots for his job, and when he was shopping for work boots, it was really important that they held up. He tried a cheaper pair one time, and they had holes in the bottom in half the time. It pays to put the money out for quality; lesson learned. If you need military or cop boots, then you may want to check out Copshoes. My ex needed a place like Copshoes, and could also get Danner boots there as well.

I’m Feeling it Today

Man, oh man….I’m a sore puppy today. I did a workout routine that was for endurance, and my poor fatigued muscles are crying out today! It’s okay, I had professional guidance. I can do the whining part today all on my own though! I like that I’m working on getting stronger, healthier and in better shape; don’t like the feel today. ;)

Tennis, Anyone?

My husband and I decided we need to be more active. The problem is, we were having trouble deciding on an activity that would work well for both of us. I mentioned racquet ball, he was concerned about our knees. I mentioned golf, and he doesn’t have a strong interest except in miniature golf. Two things we narrowed it down to were bowling and tennis. We have indoor tennis courts local, and there are courts available to the public, so that was our first part. Bowling you can do year round also, whether it’s raining or not.

Fresh for 2, Then Do it Again

Here I am, sitting freshly showered at 1:30pm. I have to go work out at 3:30, so it seems pointless…Either way, I made the mistake of not taking my shower when I first got up, and by 1:30, I couldn’t handle it! I was going to just wait until I was done working out, but I couldn’t get that far! HA
