You know what I don’t see that often anymore? I don’t see Medical Supply stores around. I know of one in the area, but other than that one, I don’t know where you would go to get certain things. I guess that’s what the internet is for these days, you can get anything from a cane, to a donut shaped pillow, from gauze to a pulse oximeter online.
Do you remember when I added the large new section to my desk and office area? My goal was to keep it cleaned off, and not stack too many things. The problem is, I find something that I know I’ll want to write about later, I mark it and put it in a pile. Then I have the pile of things that I’m using for research on other projects. I have a printed out ebook, a few pads of paper, and an empty bottle of Advil on it! Why am I keeping an empty bottle? LOL
Yes, it’s true…we have a sectional sofa living in our garage still. We were going to have a guy take it, and never got around to calling him. The problem is, we start stacking things on it like it’s a shelf. Right now cases of paper towels and toilet paper are on it. There’s other stuff on it too. When it comes time to call the guy, we have to find a spot for all those things we started stacking on it. We also have a little tool storage area and bakers racks in the garage. Oh yeah, there’s an extra fridge in were using too. I guess the car isn’t going to go back in any time soon!
Sounds like my husband is tying up loose ends too! He’s still stuck at work at 6:30. He left this morning at 7:30, so it’s another long day. I’m so happy he gets a couple of days off to unwind. It’s crazy how to have the time off, you have to work double, so you don’t fall behind when you get back!
I downloaded a new template the other day for one of my blogs I need to work on. It’s one of those things I have set aside to do, but didn’t get done yet. I hope I remember I wanted to change it when I get back! Here’s the thing, it’s a blog for a different kind of site, so I really want the template to fit properly. I didn’t get that “yes” feel after installing the last template I tried. It’s there, I look at it, and it doesn’t spark me.
Mobile technology is constantly expanding with new features, or improved ones. It’s hard to keep up with all the changes that have occurred over the last few years. Now people are regularly using the internet on their cell phones, iPhones and SmartPhones! Who dreamed we’d be browsing the web from our phones 10 years ago. Times change, and keeping up with the latest trends in technology is just as important when it comes to business and mobile marketing as well.
I wanted to remind you I’ll be gone for a couple of days. I’ll be back around Wednesday. I know many people write drafts and put them set to publish while they are away. I’m not going to be setting them up, it’s only a few days! I just wanted you to remember I’d be away.
Do you wear a uniform? Did you know that police officers and soldiers sometimes have to pay for their extra set of military uniforms. A lot of time, they are issued one or two sets of something, but if they want a spare set, so they don’t have to continually be trying to wash what they have, they have to pay out of their own pocket.
I took my break, my feet feel better, and I feel revived. Isn’t it nice what a little breather can do? I was enjoying the sun so much, and even the dogs were crashed out basking in the sun. Little dog was laying in the grass, while Big dog soaked the sun with me on the porch.
