Do you own a business? What type of business is it? Are you one of those people who comes up with a great idea and runs with it, or are you someone who sees something is working, and just changes it a little bit?

I tossed my dogs a “Butter Snap” pretzel, and they were cracking me up. First they had to sniff it, then hesitantly lick it. Usually, they just pop something in their mouths and chew it up. They were delicately eating this thing! My beagle broke it into 4 pieces. The pretzels are maybe an inch by an inch! LOL
On the drive home I was listening to a radio commercial. Snapple has a new Earl Grey iced tea product. The commercial has an English bloke talking to an US guy. Anyway, it got me thinking about my friends Mick and Bass who I haven’t seen in ages. They were two guys who came over to the United States, and crossed my path. We ended up becoming friends, and Mick stuck around a few extra weeks so we could hang out a little more. It was great fun and I have wonderful memories. I also remember them calling me at all hours of the day and night, when they were back in England and had a few too many at the pub! Anyway, there were many times I thought of heading over to visit them in England, but my plans never worked out. I didn’t have a computer at the time, and the internet wasn’t something I used to book hotels and vacations like I do today. I always book my travel online these days. Back then, I used to actually go to a travel agent’s office! Times have changed, haven’t they?
There must have been something in the air tonight…Animals were crossing in front of my car tonight a lot! I was doing the long drive to drop off my son and turn around, and beside the fact that there was MONDO tie ups in Doylestown due to road construction, I had some other interesting things occur.
I’ve had the same watch for a long time. I finally changed the watch band, and while it’s serving the purpose, I’m starting to think maybe it’s time to update my watch. I currently am wearing an Expedition watch by Timex, and I guess I’m just not sure what type of watch I want yet. I like the Baby G watches from Casio, but I’m not sure if that’s what I want yet or not. I do know, that if I decide to buy, that GreatTiming.net offers great deals. I can get $16.00 off the normal watch price through them! They have all sorts of watches, and you can easily find what you want through their navigation system. I can just click on the brand I’m looking at and even clarify it even more. One click and I’m now looking at all the Baby G watches. There are six pages of Baby G styles alone! Now if I’m looking for a men’s watch for my husband, I like the Ed Hardy Gladiator watch. What style do you like? This post has been brought to you by GreatTiming.net.
I drop my son off at his dad’s tonight. On Saturday he leaves for a vacation, and comes back next Saturday. Then on that Sunday, I pick him up and on Monday we go on vacation for 5 days. He’s having a busy summer. We also went on vacation at the end of June. This child will be vacationed out pretty soon! It just worked out that way, and living between two houses, we have different schedules.
I love magazines. I know, I know, you do too! Right now I currently subscribe to Allure, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Self, Entertainment Weekly, some trade magazines, and a few others. My husband gets Car and Driver. Then when I’m at the grocery store, I pick up the latest copy of US Weekly, and have just cut back from getting In Touch and Star. I had to make cuts somewhere! Anyway, as you can see, I love magazines.
I’ve been using these little circle pads on the bottom of my left foot now for awhile. It’s not solving the situation, but it’s helping. I’m not sure how long I’m supposed to wait for the healing process. I’m just not sure. They said if it still bothered me in 2 to 3 weeks, let them know. Okay, maybe I’m sure. Can I be honest? I have to get a cortisone shot in my foot if the other stuff isn’t working. I’ve had cortisone shots, no big deal, but it’s going to hurt like a dickens in the bottom of my foot! There isn’t much padding there. I’m thinking, maybe a little pain isn’t so bad…I guess I have to get re x-rayed like they said. If it’s a stress fracture of my fifth metatarsal, it doesn’t usually show up right away. They then have to retake an x-ray a few weeks later, like now, to see if it’s there.
When I was about 19, I fell in love with billiards. I used to go to this little arcade in Morrisville, and shoot pool all day. It was quiet during the day, because kids were in school, but the owner took a liking to me, and used to line the sides up with quarters. I was never to pay when I came to play pool. I’d turn on the jukebox and play by myself for hours. It was like golf, I just wanted to improve on my own game.
