Weight Loss

I’ve been reading so much about Weight Loss recently, since I went to the surgeon to discuss gastric bypass. I’ve tried so many different paths over the years, and finding one that is right for me can be so difficult. Weight loss is such a crucial piece of my life, because even though I’m generally confident as a person, I know losing weight would help me insecurities that prop up time to time. Weight loss is burning on so many people’s minds, and sometimes when a group of women get together, it’s the first place a conversation goes to.

Diet Trial?

Ever thought of doing a Diet Trial? Many companies offer money back guarantees these days, but I always wonder how many people actually send something back if they aren’t happy with it? Have you tried different diet pills or programs that you weren’t happy with? Were there any that you were thrilled with the results? I guess I like the idea of being able to try something on a trial basis, so I can see how my body responds to it. How do you feel about trials, and do you send things back if you aren’t happy? If you are happy with your results, do you write reviews and let people know?

Carolina on My Mind

Driving down to Florida last week, we passed through a couple states, and South Carolina and North Carolina were special to me. I have some friends in the North Carolina area, and I used to visit a friend in South Carolina awhile back. So many people in the New Jersey area retire down to the North Carolina area these days. I’m not sure where we’ll end up retiring yet, but when I do, I know I can check out Cary NC Real Estate. My aunt has property in Duck, North Carolina, and I have family in New Bern as well. North Carolina has some attachment to me, and I just adore South Carolina’s southern charm and friendliness.

Christian Gifts

On the topic of Christianity, I remember going into my first shop that sold christian gifts. I loved all the variety of crosses and crucifixes that were available. I had never been in a store that was soley based on Christian gifts. The first time I went into a little shop in town, we picked out a couple of crucifixes for our home, one for the boy’s room, one for ours, and another for the living room. I’m not a regular church goer, but I do keep God in my heart. I tend to be more of a spiritual person at this point in my life. I think because I didn’t go to church on a regular basis growing up, I embraced it when it was presented to me, but then fell back to my comfort of feeling like my relationship with God is personal and not something I felt comfortable congregating to share. I totally believe to each their own, as long as it’s not a harmful practice to yourself or anyone around you.

Cross Talk

I was reading a book on tarot the other day, and one of the layouts is a Celtic cross. That was kind of interesting, because when you think of a celtic cross, I generally think of crucifixes and religious jewelry. I remember the first time I learned that not everyone who wears a cross wears a crucifix. I guess because there was Catholic influence on my raising when I was young, I thought everybody thought the same way. As I got older, I discussed differences with friends finding that not everyone who is Christian believed in Saints. It was fascinating the more I learned, and the more I realized that each Christian religion was not exactly the same. Today, I don’t generally discuss religion on points of view, but I do enjoy the learning process of hearing people’s ideas and thoughts.

Give Me a Boost!

I could use an energy supplement today! Now that we’ve come down from vacation mode, and things are caught up, I’m feeling tired! It’s funny how you expend so much energy on vacation when you go to a place like Disney, and are walking all day and night, then you come home and you have no desire to move! I guess that’s where energy supplements come in, to help give you that extra go, or boost to your step.
